The hardest part of leaving the house is seeing the look on your dog’s face – the look that, regardless of where you’re going, says, “You’re headed to the park without me!I wish I could go along.”
Gone to the Dogs
Meyer’s Tails Up Farm in Belvidere has the perfect solution: leave your dog in an enjoyable and stimulating educational environment brimming with activity and canine as well as human friends. Your dog will receive plenty of exercise and loving attention, develop the self-confidence that comes with being exposed to new social situations, and come home from daycare ready for a quiet, relaxing evening with you.
Your dog also will come home with some new and valuable social skills. Just like great educational programs for children, our Doggy Daycare is structured to have a balance of learning and appropriate play with friends – both human and four-legged – indoors and out. Activities include: obedience exercises, agility work and nature walks.
It’s More Than Sniffing, Barking and Rollin’ Around
Our purpose with Doggy Daycare is to help each dog become a self-confident, well-rounded member of the family and the larger human and dog community, too. We achieve this aim through continuous training in:
- human-to-dog relationships, which includes educating owners on how to help their dogs become enjoyable family members; and
- dog-to-dog relationships with appropriate play in and outside daycare.
Out in the community, your dog is our calling card. We want to make a good impression.
Each month we highlight one daycare dog in the Daycare Digs Newsletter. Let us know if you would like to review a past issue.
