We have an opportunity for a Full-Time Bookkeeper with a minimum of 3 years experience, to join our growing company at our Roscoe location. At Meyers we have a two phase hiring process. Only those who complete both phases will be considered for employment.

Job Description

This position includes setting the course and helping design budgetary goals, building trust. When things go awry (and they will) addressing the issue, owning it, drawing out what we can learn from it, and moving on. You’ll be required to facilitate passionate discussions and constructive conflict and maintain extreme confidentiality.

Required Skills

  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Complete knowledge of Quickbooks Pro, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office
  • 3+ years of book keeping/accounting experience
  • Extensive customer service experience
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Prepare P/R, Balance Sheet, Trial Balances and payroll
Have experience preparing state, federal, and sales taxes
Experience preparing quarterly taxes a plus
  • Experience with HR a plus

Desired Experience and Education

  • College degree or higher a plus
  • Must love pets!
  • Excellent work history and references


  • Pay and benefits negotiable, depending on experience. Performance based bonus upon approval.
