Meyer's Pet Care

Doggy Daycare

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get my dog involved?

Contact us for an application; once you’ve filled it out, we’ll schedule an interview for you and your dog, followed by a canine evaluation. If your dog is happy with us and gets along with other canines, he’s in.

Any requirements?

Sure, a few rules apply. For the safety and well-being of all participants, dogs must be

  • at least six months old
  • spayed or neutered
  • inoculated for rabies, distemper and Bordetella
  • equipped with a quick-release collar (rather than buckle collar or choke);
  • able to demonstrate obedience training or have a Canine Good Citizenship title.

What will my dog do in day care?

All sorts of things: obedience exercises and fun activities such as agility work and nature walks. Plus there’s that wonderful socializing with other dogs.

What are daycare hours?

Doggy Daycare is offered Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm (nap time: noon – 2:00). Register your dog for regular daycare attendance, from one to five days a week (special rates for multiple days). Pressed for time? Don’t worry: we offer pick-up and delivery.

Please contact Meyer’s Kennel to learn more about the program and to obtain an application for your dog.
