Lodging at Animal House

Providing the ultimate in safety, cleanliness and specialized attention is just the beginning of lodging at Meyer’s Animal House. Our loving care and willingness to go a little extra, has earned us an unmatched reputation. Our gorgeous state-of-the-art facility includes lots of space for the let’s-get-movin’ set, a quiet wing for shy and geriatric visitors, and a Cat House, for special feline friends. Located on 11 rolling acres, which includes a five-acre nature area for hiking, we strive to create an environment to meet the approval of the most discerning guest or owner.

Meyer’s is dedicated to each guest’s safety, comfort and sense of well-being, and our goal is to give every guest a completely positive experience. We care for each pet as if it were our own and provide the following amenities as part of every visit:

Live-in on-site caretakers
Heated and air-conditioned facilities
Individual sleeping areas and outdoor patios

Daily health check and behavior assessment
Thorough daily cleaning and disinfection of facility

What’s on the Menu?

We feed Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover’s Soul dog food to our guests, however, if you would prefer to bring your own food, there is no extra charge. If you plan to provide food, please measure out the necessary amount prior to coming; extra food will not be returned at the end of your pet’s visit.

Pets Just Wanna Have Fun!

We can help you customize your pet’s visit to meet his or her individual needs. We offer a variety of activities, from walks and adventures, to games and treat puzzles, to massages and special one-on-one time with a favorite human. Let us work with you to design your pet’s visit to suit his/her unique personality. Seasonal activities also are available.
