For those of you who have been long-time Animal House customers, you may remember Connie Gerstner and her daughter, Geri, the previous Animal House owners. Connie, well-known for her golden retriever breeding business, Malagold, and Geri have been close family friends of the Meyers for two generations. Kent has a lot of happy memories of romping around the Animal House property as a kid, and Geri was the “best man” when Kent and Gwen were married. When it was time for Connie and Geri to move on, it seemed only natural for Kent and Gwen to take over their business.
